SASSA is going to be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed concerning the large variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme status sassa [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The service point developed for intervention experiences a large influx of sassa status check opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it difficult to the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to allow the servicing of all sassa status consumers and enhance entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
